"He offended the Albanians of RMV" - The opposition demands an urgent

Opposition members of the Foreign Affairs Committee have requested the urgent appearance of Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha to provide explanations for what they call two serious diplomatic incidents.

The Democratic MPs in the request indicate that there was communication with diplomats of the Republic of Albania, where according to them, Minister Hoxha instructed that Ms. Donika Gërvalla (Minister of Justice and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo) be prevented from any communication and visits with other ministers of the Republic of Albania.

Meanwhile, according to the Democratic MPs, the second case is that of a published message that is claimed to be from Minister Hoxha, in which they say it contains offensive content against the Albanians of North Macedonia.

We recall that the Minister of Foreign Affairs himself, Ferit Hoxha, has previously responded to this message, stating that there is nothing true in those claims.

"There is nothing true in those messages, you will not drag me wherever you want, I have evolved, Albania is walking on the path to the EU and I will not deal with smoke and mirrors."

I have made all my clarifications and I would like to use an expression: this smoke rose and we met! I am open to meeting at any time and under any circumstances, whether when we agree, whether when we have things to talk about, even if we disagree!

"There is no kind of interpretation that applies to what we want to build, to what we talked about today and what we will do. There is no smoke that can come between us, that can blind us from seeing what we have in common," Hoxha told reporters on Monday.

A few days ago, the head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, in a post on "Facebook" shared a message claiming that Minister Ferit Hoxha refers to Albanians in North Macedonia as "idiots".
