The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting this Monday afternoon with the heads of the branches of this political force.

At this meeting, the democratic leader admitted some mistakes that he said have been made over the years, while giving some advice to branch and political leaders: to reorganize!

"From you, the leaders of the DP branches, total concentration is required in preparing for the upcoming protest on May 8, a meeting and intensive conversation with citizens to explain to them that there is and has been no fiercer enemy than Edi Rama for Albanians and for Albania."

Secondly, you are clear that for all of you, for all of us, the keyword of all keywords is organization, organization, organization. We are a great party, those who question this are wrong. But we have had a problem, and we must recognize our problems, we have not dealt with organization to the right extent.

For a series, but we are not the ones who have dedicated our energies and concentration to the right degree. Therefore, today and every day, the chairmen, members of the presidencies, district leaders, coordinators, chairmen of the group sections, have the most important task, the organization, the reorganization of this party, from the sections, to the main directions. This is also necessary to face the created situation. Edi Rama is in a difficult position, he is no longer getting out of this mess. Edi Rama will only get out of this mess if we let him", said Berisha.

Among other things, during his speech, the democratic leader congratulated the new branch chairmen who have gone through a voting process in recent weeks. Further, Berisha made a comparison with the Socialist Party, accusing Prime Minister Rama of turning him into a "rag", since according to him, there has been no election process in the rival party since 2009.

After repeating the accusations against the head of government for corruption, focusing in particular on the ANA file but also the accusations against former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, Berisha said that the opposition's only alternative is to attack this government.

"In these circumstances, everyone should ask themselves, what is the opposition's alternative? The opposition's alternative is only the attack on this government. And the truth is, the head is only expected. Every citizen should be clear about this. On the contrary, we will never lay our heads down. We will rise up until his departure. It would be the greatest national catastrophe if we accepted this unprecedented act of Edi Rama as a done deal ," said Berisha, who during his speech stated that Rama has not only challenged the laws and the opposition, but also international partners.

The opposition leader added that today's meeting was called precisely for an "extremely important" issue, which is the May 8 protest.

This protest, according to him, is about "two fundamental issues of today's drug regime. It is always about his electoral farce and it is always about his theft and protection of theft."
