One year after the murder of Shkelzen Velaj in Vlora, the prosecution and the police are still far from identifying the perpetrators. Velaj was killed on June 3, 2021 on the fifth floor of a prefabricated building, as the young man in the last moments of his life asked his mother for help to open the door of the apartment, as two gunmen were following him to kill him. .

In the following video, it shows that the pursuit of Shkëlzen Velaj, had started earlier and not in the evening hours of June 3, where he was killed. This is the moment when a person dressed in black, hats and hood on his head, appears at the entrance of the palace where the victim lived.

The person looks at the terrain around the palace and then leaves. These images belong to the morning of the event, despite the fact that the time and date do not coincide with what appears on the DVR, seized by the police.

From the verifications carried out by the police, it results that this person has criminal records and is part of a criminal group in Vlora, which often cooperates with another group in Selenica.

The person who appears in the film footage is learned that he was arrested a few days ago by the police, after moving with a pistol in the city of Vlora. But he did not admit that he had anything to do with the event that took place on June 3, 2021 in the city, where Shkëlzen Velaj was killed.

The crime is suspected to be related to the conflicts after the massacre of "Çole" in Vlora, where Albi Limaj, Haki Rakipi and Ardi Velaj were executed. The latter is Shkëlzen's brother, who died 6 years later, writes Ora News . The suspicions of the Vlora prosecution are that the murder of Shkëlzen Velaj was financed by a criminal group operating in Selenica.

While executed, it is widely believed that it was the same hand that wanted to kill Jetnor Xhaferi, an event that took place in May 2020. The same as Jetnor Xhaferaj, who was pursued with firearms by shooters from the first floor to the 5th floor , but could not kill him.
