The former Vice President of the United States of America, Mike Pence, arrived in Albania a few minutes ago.
After landing in Rinas, Pence immediately left for Manza to visit the "Ashraf 3" camp, where Iranian citizens are sheltered.
It is learned that Pence was received by many Albanian politicians from all political directions, such as Taulant Balla, Enkelejd Alibeaj, Monika Kryemadhi, Pandeli Majko, Belind Këlliçi, Mimi Kodheli, Bujar Leskaj, and many other MPs of the three political forces.
This is Mike Pence's first visit to Albania, but not to the Balkans, as in 2017 during his time as Vice President, he visited the Montenegrin capital, Podgorica.
Pence becomes the second senior American official in a short time, who visits Albania, after Mike Pompeo, who came to Tirana in May this year.
