A clash occurred in the Parliament between Minister Besfort Lamallari and DP MP Klevis Balliu, regarding the appointment of Skënder Hitaj as director of the State Police.

It was Lamallari who ironically said that since Balliu was addressed with the word "bukurosh", he attacks everyone in the Assembly. The Minister also added that Balliu attacks Hitaj only for political reasons.

"The MP in question, since being called "beautiful", has become an obsession and now attacks everyone. He uses the name of the Police Director for stale and ordinary politics, while we only wish him success in his sacred mission of guaranteeing order and security, even during the protests you organize, where you throw the national flag to the ground," Lamallari declared.

Meanwhile, in his reply, MP Klevis Balliu leveled accusations against Lamallari, saying that he only takes orders and "doesn't even know where the donkey is tied."

"If you didn't understand, I knew three days ago what happened today. You are not the Minister of Interior there; you are just the holder of a chair, because you don't even 'know where the donkey is tied'. Regarding the violence of the Police, MP Mziu was hit by representatives of the cartel in uniform, as has never happened in 35 years, and you should have been the first to speak. But you eat when you are told, speak when you are told and leave when you are told. You are not there with your own mind and you should stay, shut your mouth and just listen", said Balliu.
