Berisha's message to the 'traitors' of the DP

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has taken a tough stance against those he described as "traitors" within the political force, during a meeting with political leaders and coordinators.

The Democratic leader focused on individuals within the party who, according to him, have collaborated with political opponents.

He mentioned concrete cases of supporting other candidates or voting against majority decisions, emphasizing that such persons have no place in the ranks of the DP.

"No one should think that by serving the socialists they will be part of us. There are people who sell themselves and make bargains, but the democrats are stronger," declared Berisha.

He called for increased membership and for the unity of all citizens who disagree with the current situation, adding that the Democratic Party is in the final phase of its political battle.

In his speech, Berisha stressed the importance of organizing and providing the membership with the relevant documentation, demanding full control of the process. He underlined that the opposition must do everything to be heard, both by citizens and by the international factor.

According to him, the main path remains protests and civil revolt.

"We have only one way to be heard: protest and revolt, which have had positive effects," he said, accusing Prime Minister Edi Rama of decisions that, according to him, "have humiliated the citizens."
