Joint meeting of the two governments, Kurti takes stock: We have a lot of work
Albin Kurti

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, during his speech from the Parliament, spoke about the cooperation between Albania and Kosovo over the years.

According to Kurti, the border between Albania and Kosovo is like the border between the two ventricles of the heart, as he quoted the artist Primo Shllaku.

During his speech at the joint plenary session in Pristina, Kurti mentioned some of the agreements reached between the governments, saying that "we should not boast about the achievements between Albania and Kosovo as there is still a lot of work to be done for the citizens."

" Honorable deputies of our two republics. Today in Pristina the weather is cold, but I do not believe that it affects the atmosphere in the Assembly. It could not be otherwise, the two republics are Parliamentary and you deputies represent the citizens. Our two states are political expressions of the same aspiration.

I am pleased that today the two assemblies are taking stock. From infrastructure protection, tourism, cross-border movement, to the unification of school textbooks, these agreements are already tangible for citizens. Let me mention from the joint agreements; facilitating the control of products of non-animal origin, the rehabilitation of several road segments between the two countries, the reduction of double scanning, the opening of new commercial corridors, the provision of medical services.

Cooperation for the Mediterranean Games, a joint fund for theatrical activities, etc. The same primer is already taught in our schools. Cooperation in the field of search and rescue, and many others. We are aware that we are not allowed to be complacent, we have a lot of work to do to facilitate cooperation for our citizens. The border between Albania and Kosovo is like the border of the two ventricles of the heart (quoting the artist Primo Shllaku) ", said Kurti.
