This new electoral year has found most SP MPs uncertain about their political fate, regarding whether or not they will be on Edi Rama's lists for May 11!

4 months before the elections, socialists with parliamentary experience are "threatened" by internal competition on open lists as well as by new arrivals through the "Deputy We Want" platform.

The MPs seem to still have work to do to gain the trust of the political boss to take a place on Edi Rama's lists in search of a fourth term, a phase that the Prime Minister's cabinet ministers have passed.

A2 CNN has learned that 14 of its 17 members are "employed" in certain electoral zones. Six of them have even taken on major responsibilities, the political leadership of the five districts and the largest electoral zone, that of the diaspora. 

In Tirana, the government concentration is higher as 4 of her colleagues will serve under the leadership of the Minister of Education Ogerta Manastirliu. The heads of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Health, Economy, and the Minister of State for Entrepreneurship have started work in units 8, 11, 6, and 5.

The government's number two, Belinda Balluku, who is also a political leader in the Fier Region, has taken with her, placing the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, in Lushnje. Pirro Vëngu of Defense and Anila e Denaj of Agriculture will serve in Vlora.

Two State Ministers without Portfolio will seek votes for the SP in Elbasan. Arbjan Mazniku as the political leader of the district, while Bora Muzhaqi is located in the Librazhd area.

The Minister of Justice will continue to head the political team in Lezha, just like Mirela Kumbaro in Gjirokastra.

Taulant Balla of the Parliamentary Relations Department will manage the newest and largest electoral zone, that of Albanians abroad. But unlike the 12 regions, Diaspora will not have a physical list of candidates. From the high-level leadership forums, the leader of the Socialist Party, Edi Rama, has declared that Balla is a safe MP. But the dilemma remains whether Balla, after leaving Fier, will be on the Elbasan list or not.

Three ministers have been left without territory, Adea Pirdeni, Majlinda Dhuka and Ervin Hoxha. Although the Minister of Interior has had political "offers" in Tirana, his hometown, Gjirokastra, is also not excluded. /A2 CNN
