The Assembly of Albania has approved the decrees of President Bajram Begaj for the changes in the government cabinet.

The appointment of Belinda Balluk as Deputy Prime Minister and Majlinda Dhukas as Minister of State under the Prime Minister were approved with 76 votes in favor and 32 against.

Balluku replaces the departed Arben Ahmetaj in the post of Deputy Prime Minister. Rama signed the changes in the Government one day after President Begaj took office.

It was rumored for months that Edi Rama had cut Arben Ahmetaj's departure ticket and it was suspected that Ilir Meta could be an obstacle to this, as the President might not decree this departure. This doubt is reinforced by the fact that directly on the first day of work of the new President, Edi Rama takes them to sign Ahmetaj's resignation from the post.
