The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has responded to the statement of the democratic deputy, Gazment Bardhi, who said the former prime minister does not mention the oligarchs by name.
In the "Now" show, Berisha said that he is not selective about denunciations of oligarchs.
"Absolutely not. I am not selective. The affair of the Port of Durres is the most gigantic affair in all of Europe and even the world. It is an affair that exceeds 5 billion. I am totally focused on the Port of Durrës. It is an unimaginable affair. I dealt intensively with the Durrës file", emphasized Berisha, but without mentioning names again.
Regarding this part, the analyst Andi Bushati clashed with Berisha, telling the latter that he is making a pact with the people who supply Prime Minister Edi Rama with money.
Berisha responded by saying that this is not true as he has no pact with anyone, but again he did not denounce or mention any oligarch.
Excerpt from the discussion
Bushati : With the campaign that came to power in 2005, Berisha did not only do Nano. At that time Berisha seemed to be freer, while now we are all caught
Berisha: I guarantee you that I have no minimum obligation to the man on earth. I'm not even caught. I have dealt intensively with the Durres file and I suspect that the Durres file is the master file of all files.
Bushati: It is difficult to face America and Rama's regime and the biggest capitalists in the whole country at the same time. You cannot survive in politics by making a pact with those who supply money to Edi Rama.
Berisha: I have no pact with Edi Rama, guarantee this.
