Belind Kelliç and Ylli Rakipi

PD MP and at the same time candidate for Tirana municipality, Belind Këlliçi, in the "Unexposed" show, stated that he started his career in politics in 2009 when he returned from the USA after graduation.

Kelliçi has spoken about his career, which includes working in the FRPD, working in the Municipality of Tirana, when it was headed by Lulzim Basha, and being elected as a DP deputy.

I pyetur nga Ylli Rakipi se çfarë ka bërë në zyrat e Bashës dhe në këtë plan mos ka fjetur dhe ai aty, Këlliçi i vënë në siklet tha se ai i ka kryer punët e veta me përpikmëri dhe korrektesë.

Ylli Rakipi: Çfarë ke bërë ti deri sot që shkove 35 vjeç, për të mundur një përbindësh, në mënyrë metaforike. Çfarë ke bërë ti deri sot?

Belind Këlliçi: Unë në vitin 2009 jam kthyer në Shqipëri, pasi kam përfunduar studimet në SHBA. Jam kthyer në Tiranë, për të qëndruar pranë familjes dhe së dyti për të ndjekur një rrugëtim dhe ëndërr timen që ka qenë politika dhe kontributi në shoqëri. Kam filluar angazhimin politik në vitin 2015 në strukturat e PD.

I competed and was elected president of the youth forum, a position I dedicated seven full years to. In 2021, I was elected as a member of the Albanian Parliament, with over 11,000 personal votes, passing the quota.

Ylli Rakipi: You used to work in Luli's offices in the City Hall. What did you do there? Didn't you also sleep there like Luli?

Belind Kelliçi : I have done my work with piety and correctness. I have dealt with cultural projects, I have attended all the events that have been organized. I was not a high official. I do not join those who think that Basha only slept.

Basha, good or bad, has given 80 construction permits. This one gave over a thousand last year alone.

Some good projects were made, managed to be completed. In 2013, even with the change of power, there was a blockage of works in the Municipality, which were then implemented with the arrival of Veliaj. I gave my example as much as I could.

In the 6 years that I have worked in public administration, no one can bring me a single accusation that I have abused or violated the laws.
