The former mayor of Kavaja Municipality, Isa Sakja, wants to be the head of this municipality again. Through a post on social networks, Sakja has announced that he will participate in the DP primaries to be chosen as the candidate of this political force for the elections on May 14 of the coming year.

Isa Sakja says that he will restore democracy in the local government and will restore the right relationship with every citizen and interest group and will make decisions only through extensive consultation with citizens and in their public interest.

Isa Sakja was elected head of the Kavaja Municipality in 2017, returning it to the DP after 6 years, and won with 28 more votes than Dorjan Murati of the SP.

Dear citizens of the great Kavaje Municipality,

After consultations and meetings with you, who support and inspire me, I decided to announce my candidacy for the post of Mayor of Kavaje.

"Let's move forward and boldly towards our unstoppable victory!"

None of us can endure this blockage of democracy as stuck in a traffic that no longer moves due to the low governing capacity, the great greed of the governors to take everything for themselves and a small group of oligarchs that surrounds them.

Competitive elections produce democracy.

All of life is the pursuit of a goal, the only choice we can make is to choose the right goal.

Në 14 maj 2023 ne, populli i Kavajës e kemi zgjedhur qëllimin tonë: ne do të rikthejmë demokracinë në pushtetin lokal.
Ne do të rivendosim marrëdhënien e drejtë me çdo qytetar e grup interesi e do t’i marrin vendimet vetëm nëpërmjet konsultimit të gjerë me qytetarët dhe në interesin e tyre publik.

Të guxosh të konkurosh për t’ju përfaqësuar Ju , interesat tuaja, shpirtin tuaj demokratik është për mua një detyrim dhe një mision njëkohësisht i cili nis sot dhe do të përfundojë me 14 maj me fitoren tuaj të Bashkisë Kavajë.
