During today's meeting of the DP parliamentary group, the vice president of this political force Luciano Boçi stated that they will submit to the Assembly the request for the establishment of an investigative commission for the charter flights carried out by Prime Minister Edi Rama, after the publication of data from TIMS system hackers.
Boçi accused Rama of "burning 22 million euros of Albanians in the air".
"According to the data from the TIMS system, Rama has flown 137 times, burning 22 million euros of Albanians in the air. For this reason, our parliamentary group will submit the request for the establishment of the investigative commission to clarify this corruption affair in order to reveal the true face of the regime We will ask for the support of all deputies and any attempt to reject or prevent it will be considered as an attempt to hide the truth from the Albanians," said Boçi.
After this statement, there was a reaction from Prime Minister Edi Rama, who, through a post on Twitter, denies that he has spent such a figure for his travels and emphasizes that the expenses for his flights are half of those of the former Prime Minister Berisha.
"People with tails instead of tongues who make fun of Albania and Albanians, poor people in the service of Russian Rubles! They continue with €22 million for the Prime Minister's flights, while my trips have cost less than half of Nongrata's flights! #MeFakteNoMeRubla", writes Rama.
