The former candidate for the head of the Democratic Party, Ibsen Elezi, accuses the candidate for the head of the Municipality of Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, of having manipulated the elections within the party by falsifying the minutes where 1900 people are counted as if there were 4900 votes.

During a television interview, Elezi, referring to Këlliç, said that a person who draws up such an election record is a person who can do all the rest.

"In the first moment of my candidacy, there are 8 people that I have accused of the people who have manipulated the processes since 2018, even within the DP. They are vote manipulators in a way. Not in a seed, but directly. I, a vote manipulator, have no way of promoting him politically. It is a signed document, where Kelliçi has whitewashed a record, an election act, where 1900 people are counted for 4900. There is no cleaner, it is written in black on white. A person who is in a commission and drafts such an election record is a person who can do all the rest", said Ibsen Elezi.
