Prime Minister Edi Rama was asked if there was a blockage of albcontroll after the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Frančesko Becket.
The Prime Minister said that " Albania has not paid a single penny as far as the Beketi case is concerned " and moreover, they will consider withdrawing from the jurisdiction of this court.
Edi Rama: For the first time since you came to me on such a dear topic for those who enjoy every time there is news of this nature, instead of being irritated that a criminal manages to break the streets in a court with which we will open big problems, starting next week. We are thinking of leaving the jurisdiction of this court altogether, after the scandalous decisions.
These same people have said that Albania has paid that money, that 100 million have not gone away, they are not in the pocket of that fraudster.
As for the war with him, we do and will do it, even without this category of people. I give the answers as I want. Pass the microphone, this is an aspect of the process that is related to confidentiality, but my job is to maintain confidentiality .
What I can tell you is that Albania has not paid a single lek. This is a very complicated world with many procedures. The fraud manages to penetrate and they do it not only with Albania but also with other international institutions.' - said Rama.
