Veliaj reads the 42 new schools in Tirana, the journalist: We do not question
Veliaj and Erla Mehilli

In a debate on citizens' taxes in Euronews, the mayor Erion Veliaj read to the moderator Erla Mëhilli the 42 new schools that have been built in these 7 years. Despite her attempt to stop it, Veliaj continued to the end with the list of 42 new 9-year and secondary schools throughout Tirana.

Erion Veliaj : They gather to have all the schools now and to pay for them over the years. With the old system, we got the money now and the schools were over the years. And today we say that we want all the schools today so that today the children do not have classes with two shifts.

...The "Lasgush Poradeci" school is new in Kombinat, the "16 Shtator" school in Peza te Madhe...

Erla Mehilli: We don't have time to read 42 schools to us.

Erion Veliaj: You cannot discuss something and not expect transparency.

Erla Mehilli: We do not question them. There are 42 schools. It is not necessary to make this whole list now. No one doubts that we have seen them.
