Even though he was filmed threatening a citizen in the middle of the city, the mayor of Puka, Gjon Gjonaj, denies the rumors. For the media, he shows that the person with whom he appears in the video is his man, specifying that he is the coach of the city's children.

Among other things, Gjonaj accuses the Democratic Party of using the video to come to power, he emphasizes that the fact that the Police did not intervene means that there was no conflict. 

" I am correct in everything, it is a video of hers, he is my man in fact. I was consulting with the citizen, it had nothing to do with the elections and the campaign, it is shameful that this is being used. It is the coach of the children's team, the person in question is my man.

There was no reason for me to get involved in the collision there, he is the person responsible for the age teams, I drew his attention so that he would not create any problems for the children. They make them up and want to use them in the campaign.
