Prime Minister Edi Rama has assembled the government cabinet this morning. Rama says that they have agreed on the draft law for the salary increase. The head of the government said that within a year the average salary will go from 563 euros to 900 euros.

" I came here today because it is one of the marked days of governance. We have just agreed on the bill for the new wage reform. We have sanctioned in black and white that within a year the average salary will go from 563 euros to 900 euros.

To be able to redistribute income where ordinary Albanian families rightly expect more than anything else in the coffers of their budgets. It is important for us to ascertain how stable our economy is.

We came here to resist wounds and serious problems. We continue to support all families and small businesses so they don't see a penny rise in their bill.

Today we can tell you all that it is the day to get them yourself, directly in their family coffers, the fruits of this effort and of the reforms that have brought us here. I don't want to lose focus on too many numbers. Our task is to give the Albanians the maximum of the product of the reforms.' , Rama said.
