PSD's landslide victory in Vau e Dejës/ Rama had warned of

In Vau i Dejës, all 53 ballot boxes have been counted and the official result has been released.

The Social Democratic Party has been declared the leading force in this Shkodra municipality with 5,951 votes, while the Democratic Party has collected 4,698.

The Socialist Party is ranked third with 2,482 votes.

Vau i Dejës is the first municipality in which neither the Democratic Party nor the Socialist Party was declared the winner.

But this local result seems not to have been a surprise to political leaders, as during the campaign, Prime Minister Edi Rama publicly warned Mayor Kristian Shkreli, telling him: "Don't play with two goals," a statement that now takes on more meaning in light of this result.
