The imminent re-election of Edi Rama in Albania will be detrimental to Greek interests, declares Greek analyst Savvas Kalenderidis, invited to the neighboring country's television.
He says that, "given that the day before the elections, Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Edi Rama to support him, it is clear that it is not in our interest for him to win."
According to Greek analyst Sali Berisha, although he is 80 years old, "if elected, he is expected to pursue a better policy on Greek issues, regarding the Greek diaspora of Northern Epirus and the delimitation of the continental shelf between the two countries."
"Turkey is the one that does not allow this to happen and gives a signal to Rama to obstruct this issue," he claimed in an interview with the Greek television "Ant1".
