The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, also the Socialist Party's candidate for deputy, reacted with a post on social media after the announcement of the results in Vora, where the SP emerged as the winner and he with a high number of nominal votes.

Gonxha writes: "I want to sincerely and humbly thank every voter of Vora who voted for me almost unanimously.

I am deeply happy that the echo of the profound victory of the Socialist Party has its first source in Vora, so as not to stop its spread throughout the region and then throughout Albania.

"The Albanians' trust in Edi Rama to lead them to the EU is unquestionable and unwavering," Gonxha said.
