Blendi Fevziu says that the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party is divided.
Invited to Milori Live on Klan News, Fevziu said that the party base is more consolidated, while the PD parliamentary group is significantly divided.
According to him, some of the deputies may join the Re-establishment Commission, while some others risk remaining only deputies in Parliament without any connection with the DP.
"It's contoured into a Democratic Party rift. From the perception it seems that at the base there is a consolidation towards the DP represented by the Re-establishment Commission, while in the parliamentary group there is a rift. The evidence of the rift in the parliamentary group was clearly visible in the Assembly of the Democratic Party of April 30, where 35 deputies did not participate. So the rift in the parliamentary group is evident. The crack at the base does not appear at these moments. Undoubtedly there is a hesitation there too but in smaller numbers. But there are two groups anyway; one is larger and one group smaller. While in the parliamentary group there is a rift of different sizes. There is a larger group that has not yet joined Re-establishment than the Re-establishment group.
So if they become 15-17 on one side, they are 34-35 on the other side. So in this respect there seems to be an imbalance, it does not represent or reflect the balance of support based on the leadership of the parliamentary group. What will happen is very difficult to say. There are several scenarios. The first scenario is that PD at least the path followed by the Re-establishment Commission is we are on our way, we have the party base, we are moving forward, we have a confirmation from the court. In this regard, it is expected that some of the 35 deputies who hesitated could join the group. It can happen like today since 35, 13 were not in the meeting at all. Someone earlier, someone later, can join the Re-establishment group. There is a possibility that a slightly smaller group will remain as a group as a kind of satellite. Remains in the Parliament of Albania, has nothing to do with the Democratic Party. Of course, this is a very big blow because for the third time, in 3 elections in a row, Rama is approaching the limit of 2/3 ", said Blendi Fevziu.
