The company of deputy minister of Education, Albana Tole is reported to have won a large and un-competition tender from the Ministry of Defence for the purchase of nails and screwdrivers.

According to the denuncation, it is about a tender announced on July 3 of this year for "Material Purchase for The Genion", which cost the state budget 64 million old, and Deputy Minister Tole is a shareholder in this company.

The spokesperson of the Refoundation Group, Genta Vangjeli, in an appearance to the media, stated that the tender in question was done without competition, adding that the winner was predetermined. She said that the Ministry of Defence with its actions creates conditions to suspect that competition is artificially narrowed in contingency with the law on public procurement, while opposite albana Tole, deputy minister of education. He was appointed to the position on November 3, 2021.

From the research in the QKB for the company "Tirana Due Shpk", it turns out that the deputy minister is a shareholder in the amount of 15%, while her father owns 70% of the shares and her sister, 15%. The contract in question, according to the tender made public also in the Public Procurement Agency, ends on December 31st of this year.

Tender of the Ministry of Defence

The tender with the object "Material purchase for the garden (elements for Bailey bridges)", was published on 3 July in the system of the Public Procurement Agency. As seen in the documents, materials are being purchased with the fund in question to build metal bridges, namely: rods, screwdrivers, nails and more, while it is planned to spend 666 million ALL. As explained in the document, the tender for this tender has only been presented by the merger of the operators "TIRANA DUE SHPK" and "3A – PROFILE" shpk. Their offer was at levels of 64.342 million ALL, so nearly 90% of the fund limit.
