Berisha warns of protests: Rama's days are numbered, he will be sentenced
Sali Berisha

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha was the last to enter the Assembly hall and the first to leave at today's plenary session, where the work for the third session of the 10th legislature of the Assembly officially began.

He spoke to the media from the courtyard of the Assembly where he declared that today's session cannot even be called pagan according to him, on the day of honoring Saint Teresa. He further added that the Parliament of Albania has no law to support Albanian citizens in need, in this period that they are being stolen in a terrible way.

"Edi Rama called the parliament on the day of honoring Saint Teresa, a day which inspires more than anything else, mercy, compassion and sensitivity towards those who are suffering and in need.

I can tell you that today this session, to say that it was pagan, shames the pagans. In a long list of laws and decisions, there was absolutely no single line, article or decision for the Albanian citizen.

I recall that just two days ago, not the German government which gave 45 billion euros to its citizens, I do not take this example, but the government of Kosovo granted its citizens 100 euros for each pensioner. Granted 100 euros for each student, 100 euros for each employee of public enterprises. 50 euros for each employee of the public administration and doubled the fixed economic aid. All this to meet the prices that today in Kosovo, starting with oil and all basic products are 30% lower than in Albania.

Whereas this parliament has no decision, no article, law, to support Albanian citizens in need, in this period that they are being stolen in a terrible way, taking advantage of the increase in prices with the communist boards of Edi Rama." - declared Berisha.

Furthermore, the former prime minister warned that there will be permanent protests in defense of the interests of Albanian citizens and that according to him, prime minister Edi Rama's days are numbered.

He further added that Rama deserves decades in prison for the deeds he has done.

"Undoubtedly, the coordination will be done. There is an opposition front that will be assembled. The 'Front for the Salvation of Albania' will be assembled and will adopt an agenda aimed at a sustainable popular protest in defense of the interests of Albanian citizens.

Ishte në Beograd, dëshmoi se Shqipërinë e do serbisht. Atje do të shkojë, nëse lejohet.

E vërteta është se ai do të japë llogari për të gjitha vjedhjet monstruoze që ka bërë para ligjit shqiptar dhe ato vepra penale, nuk bëjnë vite por shumë dekada dënim për Edi Ramën.

The opposition is in a battle with Edi Rama. The President of the Assembly is simply an instrument in his hands. Everything is determined by the man who established absolute monism in Albania and who must leave as soon as possible, so that Albania can establish a pluralistic democratic system," said Berisha.
