The former chairman of the National Security Commission, at the same time the former deputy of the Socialist Party, Spartak Braho, yesterday made some strong statements about the riots of the evil year 1997, while he warned of a possible coup d'état this fall, referring to the calls of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha for revolts, with the aim of overthrowing the "Rama 3" government.

In an interview for the "SOT" newspaper, Mr. Braho has gone back in time, as he says that the main author of the riots of 1997 and even many bad things that happened in Albania, is former Prime Minister Berisha, then President. But Braho has gone further, when he says that Berisha is preparing for a coup in the coming days. He says that this is how a new and irreparable tragedy is coming for the country.

Yes it is true. As long as Sali Berisha will make the law in DP, this risk is evident. Berisha has usurped the Democratic Party for his trouble and he resembles a wounded beast and thinks that only a civil conflict, a coup d'état can save him from punishment. Look, today I am giving you a list of 600 people (which you can publish later) who were armed on the orders of Sali Berisha to attack the south of the country. The fools, in addition to the name and company, have also marked the ID card numbers. The arming of DP militants happened in several districts of the country at that time. There is a risk that these people and others will come armed during the protests called by Berisha... Is this accidental and not thought out by the opposition leaders? I do not believe. However let's see…
