Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha appeared this Monday at SPAK, in compliance with the measure of obligation to appear. After leaving the premises of the Special Prosecution, he gave a statement to the media, where he harshly attacked the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, whom he accused of political connections and of protecting the government.
Following his statement, Berisha said:
"I am starting with a heartfelt greeting to all of you here and all the citizens of Tirana and Albania who are attending this press conference. Before leaving, I left this note: Altin Troplini, the fierce enemy of the free vote of Albanians, the amnesty for the monstrous electoral crime of Ramaduro and other narco-government figures. For all of this, for his connections with Troplini, for the millions taken from Kreshnik of Manza, he will answer before the law," said Berisha.
