Basha: I feel it is my duty to devote my energies to a real opposition!

The former chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, has continued the meetings with the democrats of branch no. 2 in Tirana.

The meeting was posted on Lulzim Basha's website, the fact that the footage was accompanied by music stands out, while in the text of the announcement it is emphasized that the former chief democrat took a step back to avoid the internal war in the DP, but the situation is worse according to him than before.

Basha has pledged to the democrats that he will commit his energies to making the real opposition.

Basha's post :

" With great pleasure I answered the invitation for a coffee from a group of contributors and central figures of the DP in branch 2 in Tirana. We had an open and direct conversation, where I responded without any hesitation to their questions, interest and concerns, and I will do so with all members of our political family.

But I will never be part of the mudslinging, even if they continue as they have with the same attacks, lies and deceptions. Because the road that passes through the old politics of mud, accusations and the trivialization of any public debate keeps us stuck and can never bring change to people.

I took a step back because I didn't want an internal war, convinced that it only benefits the opponents! And it was the right thing. But here we are. Nothing has changed, the situation is even worse for the democrats and the Albanians.

That is why I feel it is my duty to devote my energies to a real opposition in the service of the people. Only a clear alternative, which focuses on the problems of citizens and not those of politicians, can bring real change ", writes Basha on the Facebook page.
