Albania (poor) exceeds Croatia and Slovenia: What are the salaries of the
Salaries of the presidents of the region

Bajram Begaj is already the highest paid President in the region. After the vote in the Albanian Parliament for the salary increase, Begaj's monthly salary is 3,860 euros (it was 2,320 euros).

In addition to increasing the President's salary, the Albanian Parliament also doubled the salaries of deputies and ministers.

Begaj also passes the presidents of Croatia and Slovenia to the region, who are paid up to 3,500 euros per month.

Behind them are the three members of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina: Denis Beqirović, Želka Cvijanović and Želko Komshić, each with 2,920 euros per month in their leadership position and further down the president of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, who has a salary 2420 euros.

Meanwhile, the salary of the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, after the last increase, goes to 2160 euros, while the Serbian President Aleksandër Vucic, whose salary was increased in January, today receives 1700 euros per month. With a difference of 200 euros, Stevo Pendarovski closes the list with a monthly salary of 1500 euros.

Throughout the region, the salaries of officials are a sensitive topic in the eyes of the public, because in addition to their salary, they also receive other income, several times more than ordinary citizens, and even more so because they are often accused of corruption and illegal favors.
