Prime Minister Edi Rama continues his so-called "thanksgiving tour" after the May 14 local elections, and today he stopped in the Durrës region.

Rama stated that there were people who had control of important agencies, took everything in the SP and in the end brought only costs to the party.

"We entered into a very large debt by asking the people to vote and asking them to trust us that only with us can we move forward. What we have received from them is a very big, extraordinary challenge. They make some strange calculations but they received, they did not receive 250,000 votes because the votes for the opposing candidates were collected by hand and foot. And those with whom Albania has a problem are all made of cotton. This abandonment is also related to the fact that inside themselves, even though they will never say it, they know that we are the best choice.

This does not mean that we have done everything well. We made mistakes. We've also done things that I'm not proud of and I really wish we hadn't done. I'm not talking about you being here, or Annie, or Anthony. I am talking about the leaders of the Socialist Party. I'm talking about people who have taken everything from SP, but have paid for it all these years. I'm talking about people who have taken high positions, leading important agencies and disgraced our trust and support, our flag, our family.

At the end of the day, the responsibility is individual but a family, even a small family, even the family of a company or sports team, even the family of a party is not responsible for what an individual does who goes off the rails but for the way he reacts in the relationship with the problem. Which means take measures and realize that that thing will not happen again and others should learn a lesson. We have many lessons to learn so that we can deserve this trust and this support", said Rama.
