Rama in Selenica: Gratitude for the democrats who did not vote on May 14

Prime Minister Edi Rama started the thanksgiving meeting in Selenica by expressing gratitude to the democrats who did not come out to vote in the May 14 elections. The head of the government said that these citizens helped Albania not to take steps behind them.

"The failure of some of them to vote is the most important contribution they have made to the future of our country. Because they refused to dirty their hands by going to the polls to put the cross of their vote on a union of shadows of the past, which are there to pull Albania only back", said Rama .

As he assured them of the government's support, Rama also apologized to the citizens of Selenica.

"You waited for me, but I could not come. Today you came out again so I thank you twice. We will continue to support the Municipality of Selenica with all our possibilities".

The Prime Minister also met with lecturers and students in Vlorë, where he emphasized that the internationalization of Albanian universities is the main objective of the government.

Internationalization is our priority as far as universities are concerned. Opening as many doors as possible for students, for lecturers in Europe and at the same time bringing as much knowledge and experience from Europe as possible to our universities are a necessity for the further transformation of the university that offers you the same programs with the same standards as in the countries of Europe". 

The Prime Minister said that cooperation with European universities in scientific work will help increase income for Albanian universities.
