Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke to the media from the EU Summit in Brussels, where he directly accused Bulgaria of shamefully holding hostage the membership of two NATO member countries.
He also criticized the 26 member states of the union, as according to him they are sitting and showing a scene of impotence.
Asked if he fears that Albania will be a victim, Rama said: "We will never be a victim because we know that on this road there is a Bulgarian here and a Bulgarian there, but we do not change our course and "We will build Europe in our country." Rama was also asked by the Bulgarian media who were told that their country is a real shame.
" You are ashamed to hold two other NATO members hostage. "I do not expect good news today, because as I said yesterday, optimism was raised, but here we are and it is a new day in Europe, but not in Bulgaria ," he said.
