Celione Dion

Amidst tears and emotions, Celine Dion returned to the stage on Saturday evening, after more than 6 years of absence, in her first concert, out of 16 that will be held. The world star performed in front of an incredible audience of over 30 thousand fans at the Plenitude Arena (Paris La Défense Arena) in the suburbs of Paris.

This concert marked the start of a long tour titled "Celine Dion Paris 2026–2027", which will include a total of 26 shows, for which tickets are already completely sold out. This is a personal battle, already won by the 58-year-old singer, after in 2022 she shocked fans when she announced that she was suffering from Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that made it impossible for her to perform.

The 58-year-old singer opened the concert with a song in French and couldn't hold back her tears as she received a standing ovation from the audience. She said: "I promised myself I wouldn't cry... but I'm so happy to see you."

The first concert lasts more than two hours where the 58-year-old sang her biggest hits like "The Power of Love", "Because You Loved Me", "All By Myself" and of course the anthem "My Heart Will Go On".

Music critics called this one of the most daring and triumphant comebacks in music history, praising her voice that, although affected by the disease, remains just as vibrant, full, and electric.
