Actor and director Hervin Çuli, invited to Top Story with Grida Duma, has revealed that the entrance to his apartment has been vandalized and he has been threatened after writings against protest violence.
"When I opened the door of the house, I found a sign that I didn't like. Something that a person removes from his body with a big X. I am a simple person, I live in a not-so-peaceful neighborhood, but I am identifiable. I have written several articles about the protest.
I believe it is because of these reactions, I am easily identifiable, people find me. I do not have villas, I do not live like Edi Rama. We who speak our mind and are simple people, can speak our mind. The state has fallen, I will close the shutters, take a gun and protect myself.
The state has fallen, Edi Rama has fallen. That boy just told me on the way that he is my daughter's close friend. That I don't want to exaggerate this issue (gets emotional). My daughter is against me maybe, I experienced 1997. I don't write for interest, I write against violence.
"The writings show that I do not defend a corrupt government that I have been in power for 4 years. I am an abandoned person now, they have even forgotten about my work, their job is to be in power. The state's duty is to protect the life of the individual, but the other side also has an aggressive culture," Çuli said, among other things.
