The Basic Court in Ferizaj today (Friday) will hold the hearing of the announcement of the judgment against Dardan Krivaqa and Arbë Sejdi, who are accused of the rape and murder of Marigona Osmani.

The hearing will be held at 11:00 a.m. and will be open to the public.

Before the start of the session, at 10:30 a.m. in front of the Ferizaj Court building, a protest organized by the Collective for Feminist Thought and Action "to demand justice for Marigona and maximum punishment for the murderers" will be held.

"The cruel violence that Krivaqa exercised with the help of Sejdi against Marigona until he killed her and her loss makes it impossible for us to forget. We cannot forget that Marigona could be alive today if the state had protected her in time. Outraged with a lot of pain, we gather this Friday and call for justice for Marigona", says the announcement of the Collective for Feminist Thought and Action.

Otherwise, during this week, a court session was held for the rape and murder of Marigona Osmani. The lawyer of the Osmani family, Gazmend Rexhepi, requested life imprisonment for Dardan Krivaqa and Arbë Sejdi.

In this session, the final word was given by the prosecutor of the case, Valdet Avdiu, who made a summary of the past sessions, witnesses and evidence.

After him, the Osmani family's lawyer, Gazmend Rexhepi, had the final word, who said that the accused Dardan Krivaqa and Arbër Sejdiu should be sentenced to life imprisonment.

Today, 25% of the police forces in and around the municipal facilities in the north are withdrawn.
Rexhepi has said that Sejdi's statements do not match the evidence found at the scene where Marigona Osmani was killed and raped.

The lawyer emphasized that in the video recordings provided, the images are terrible.

According to the indictment, "The defendant Dardan Krivaça, on August 21, 2021, at around 10:14, in his apartment in Ferizaj, without her consent, forces the deceased Marigona Osmani to have sexual intercourse, which is accompanied by torture, in the way he initially performed sexual intercourse in the living room against her will, after performing the sexual act he sent her naked to the bathroom, from there he violently sent her to the bedroom, but with the passage of time due to her serious condition health, as a result of the violence exerted, he loses the ability to resist, and on two occasions in the evening, he performs sexual intercourse, then sends him naked to the bathroom, where the injuries on his body are also noticed".

"From 10:56 a.m. to 2:43 p.m., the first defendant took a stick, and together with the second defendant, they entered the room and hit him in different parts of the body, causing the same , great physical and mental pain, where from the blows he suffers polytrauma-multiple injuries, where death is directly caused by mechanical asphyxia, as well as hemorrhagic and traumatic shock, which are the result of external bleeding and internal bleeding, from broken bones of the lower jaw, broken ribs, left clavicle, neck rings, epidural and subdural bleeding in the back of the cerebrum and cerebellum, partial rupture of the spinal cord in the neck, the same is sent to the Hospital of General - Emergency Center in Ferizaj and leave from there".
