The court hearing against Hashim Thaç continues today

Today, the trial of Hashim Thaçi and others continues in the Specialized Chambers of Kosovo in The Hague.

Frederick Abrahams, from the international NGO "Human Rights Watch", who is the new witness of the ZPS in the trial of Thaçi and others, is expected to continue his testimony today. This is the 22nd witness so far.

Meanwhile, the witness Agim Idrizi has completed his testimony in the trial against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army at the Special Court in The Hague. At the end of the testimony, Idrizi expressed his concern with the comments he saw on social networks after his testimony the day before.

The former leaders of the KLA, whom the prosecution claims have committed war crimes, are being tried after a preliminary procedure that has lasted more than two years. During this time, ex-president Thaçi, ex-parliamentarians Krasniqi and Veseli, as well as ex-MP Selimi, are being detained in The Hague, while in their appearances before the court they have declared themselves innocent.
