A kamikaze drone launched by the Russian military to shoot down targets in Ukraine has ended up inside the border of Romania, a NATO member state, according to geo-locations carried out by volunteers on social networks.
The Iranian model "Shahed" drone overshot its target and crashed about 300 meters inside Romanian territory, in a field across the Danube River that separates the two countries.
No one was injured in the incident, however, until now, Russia has not reacted to the incident, while the Romanian Ministry of Defense denied that any explosion occurred within its territory.
The event happened just one day before the Romanian state company "Transgaz" took over the operations of the Russian gas company "Gazprom" in the territory of Moldova.
