Shocking security camera footage shows the dramatic moment a Ukrainian official who had crossed with the Russians is killed by resistance forces.
Askaar Laishev worked for Ukraine's internal security service (SBU) before joining the Moscow-backed Luhansk People's Republic as head of intelligence in 2014.
But members of ukraine's National Resistance in war-torn Donbass retaliated in eastern Ukraine by blowing up his car as he was driving through the city on August 11.
Laishev got out of the car after the explosion, but died a few days later in hospital. This follows the similar killing of Putin official Ivan Susko in Zaporizhzhia this week.
The National Resistance stated: "We stress once again that co-operation is harmful to your health, to every traitor not to think that revenge will not come".
Newly released security camera footage shows Laishev's car explode on Shevchenko Road, Staroblisk in Russia-controlled Luhansk, an area that fell under Russian control in early July.
