An event that we are used to seeing only in movies happened in California, USA, where an old man who worked as a salesman, but was also the owner of the store, shot with a shotgun a young man who entered to steal at gunpoint .

The 80-year-old had spotted the robber approaching his store with a gun in his hand from outside, while he readied the gun and shot him in the arm as soon as he entered and pointed the gun at him threatening him.

"I knew he was coming at me and I didn't have to wait any longer. He was armed so I shot. I did what I had to do. I protected my business, my customers, myself," the elderly man declared.

Meanwhile, the young man was wounded in the arm with only one shot, while in the video published by CNN, his screams can be heard as he runs away.

The police found him later, admitted to a hospital where he was being treated and he will be arrested as soon as he gets out of there. Meanwhile, his three associates have already been arrested.
