White smoke in the Vatican! Cardinals elect new Pope

White smoke in the Vatican! The conclave has reached an agreement to elect the new Pope who will succeed Pope Francis.

The name of the new Pope is expected to be announced, who will be presented to the world from the Benediction Loggia of the Vatican Basilica.

After two days of voting by cardinals in the Sistine Chapel, the 2/3 of the votes needed for the election were reached, while the number of electing cardinals was 133.

Great joy for the entire Catholic Church, as the crowd of believers in the square in front of the Vatican erupted in cheers and applause for the new Successor of Saint Peter!
