Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared 24 hours of national mourning after the tragedy with 66 dead and 51 injured as a result of a fire at the Kartalkaya ski resort in the Bolu province in northern Turkey.
In his statements after the Council of Ministers meeting in Ankara, the Turkish president declared that he has launched a judicial and administrative investigation into the causes of the fire.
He also explained that six prosecutors, two inspectors from the Public Administration, four inspectors from the Ministry of Labor, and a five-member expert committee have been assigned for this purpose.
Four government ministers also went to the scene.
"In the first phase, four people were arrested, including the owner of the business where the tragedy occurred. I say it clearly and unequivocally once and for all: Those who caused such a disaster, those who showed negligence and guilt, will be held accountable before the law," Erdogan said.

The fire that broke out at around 3:30 am at the Bolu ski resort initially started in the wooden-framed hotel's restaurant and quickly spread throughout the 12-story building.
There were 237 people staying in the hotel at the time the fire broke out.
Firefighters initially worked to evacuate tourists and then began work to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, as the incident is under investigation.
