"They say the war must continue, but with whose money?"/ Vance

US Vice President JD Vance has criticized America's European allies for "blowing up the ego" of Ukrainian President Volodymyyr Zelensky, arguing that encouraging the Ukrainian leader's refusal to compromise harms the citizens of his nation.

Last Friday, Zelensky was asked to leave the White House after a tense exchange with Vance and President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

In an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity on Monday, Vance accused senior European officials who expressed support for Zelensky in response to the incident of "blowing it up."

Zelensky is told: “ You are a freedom fighter; you must continue to fight forever . Well, fighting forever with what? With whose money, with whose ammunition, and with whose lives? ” Vance asked.

Vance claimed that while some European leaders privately acknowledge that funding for Ukraine in its conflict with Russia cannot last indefinitely, they publicly pledge support for Zelensky for the next decade. He argued that this stance is “doing a disservice to the Ukrainian people.”
