Russian President Vladimir Putin

Wagner boss and former friend of Vladimir Putin Yevgeny Prigozhin is reported to be among 10 victims of the crash of his private jet in Moscow today.

But while Prigozhin's private plane was going down, allegedly shot down by missiles from Russia's air defense system, Putin was celebrating.

According to images published on social networks, Putin was participating in a grand celebration commemorating the victory in the Battle of Kursk in World War II, an event that was broadcast live by the state television "Russia-24".
