An activist is shot to death with a knife in the middle of the street in New

A shocking video has been circulating online for the last few hours, showing the cold-blooded murder of the American activist and poet Ryan Carson by an unknown person on a street in New York.

As seen in the footage, the victim is sitting on a bench and talking to his girlfriend. A few meters in front of them, a man starts hitting the car parked on the sidewalk. Suddenly enraged, he turns to the 32-year-old's side and asks him "What the hell are you looking at?".

The activist then replies "I'm not watching anything" and moves between his girlfriend and the enraged man, who begins to approach them with threats. The attacker then starts chasing the activist, brandishing a knife, while his girlfriend, who runs after them, can be heard shouting "Please, please, please!", writes Protothema.

As he tries to get away, Carson falls onto the bench he was sitting on earlier and the attacker grabs his jacket and throws it to the ground, stabbing him several times in the chest. The killer then kicks the dead body of the 32-year-old and leaves.

The deadly attack happened early last Monday on Lafayette Avenue, a few blocks from the Bedford-Nostrand train station in New York, where the couple had gotten off the subway on their way back from a wedding, police said. As of Tuesday afternoon, no one had been arrested for the serious crime, however, the perpetrator is being sought.
