The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has stated that Kosovo is being attacked and that it is the victim of an act of aggression, after the attack by armed groups of Serbs against the Kosovo Police in the north of the country.
The attack in the village of Banjské in Kosovo, where an Albanian policeman was killed, was taken over by Millan Radoiçiç, who was questioned today by the Serbian prosecutor's office in Belgrade, but Osmani does not believe that Serbia will punish or extradite him to the Kosovo authorities.
"Obviously, the first thing we want is for [the Serbian state] to hand over Radoicic and other terrorists to the Republic of Kosovo, so that justice can be done." Serbia does not have a good history of bringing justice to the country", said Osmani in an interview for the American television CNN.
She emphasized that "there is no case when the criminals who committed war crimes and genocide in Kosovo and Bosnia have been brought to justice" in Serbia.
