After calling Russian President Vladimir Putin crazy for the mass attacks across Ukraine, the Kremlin has stated that US President Donald Trump's claim may be due to emotional overload.

"We are truly grateful to the Americans and personally to President Trump for their help in organizing and launching this negotiation process. Of course, at the same time, this is a moment that is accompanied by emotional overload," the Kremlin spokesman said, when asked about Trump's comments about Putin.

Meanwhile, work on Russia's proposal for a possible peace agreement for the war in Ukraine is continuing, but a draft has not yet been presented.
