US President Donald Trump appears to be losing patience with Russian President Vladimir Putin after the airstrike on Ukraine on Saturday evening, which killed 12 people.

In a reaction on his social network "Truth Social", Trump says that he is not happy with Vladimir Putin's behavior and that he has gone completely crazy.

"He is completely insane. He is killing people unnecessarily, and I'm not just talking about soldiers. I have always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. I have always said that he wants all of Ukraine, not just parts of it, and maybe that is turning out to be true, but if he does it, it will lead to the downfall of Russia," Trump wrote.

The head of the White House also responded to the interest of American journalists, adding that he is considering more sanctions against Russia.

"I don't know what the hell happened to Putin. I've known him for a long time, I've always gotten along well with him. But he's launching missiles into cities and killing people, I don't like that at all."

On Saturday night, Russia carried out the largest single-night airstrike in Ukraine since the war began in February 2022.

Ukraine said Russian forces fired 367 drones and missiles, killing 12 people.
