"Are you kidding me, or what? I can't extradite Milan Radoicic to Pristina, because we don't recognize Kosovo," said the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, in an interview with Sky News.
"The person who was questioned in the preliminary procedure said that he bought something in Serbia, something in Croatia, something in BiH. Let's verify it now", said Vucic to Sky news, referring to Radoicic.
Asked if Radoicic was his close ally, Vucic answered positively: "There is no doubt, he was the vice-president of the Serbian List".
However, he cannot say that he was his friend. "He was accused. It was a big, very big criminal violation", stressed Vučič.
Asked why he does not extradite Radoicic to Pristina, Vucic answers with the question: "Are you kidding me, or what?".
"I am asking you because you know that we cannot extradite anyone to Pristina, because we do not recognize Kosovo as a state", said Vučič.
He emphasized that the aggression against the state of Kosovo "is a serious crime".
Speaking about the group of Serbs who clashed with the Kosovo police in Banjska, Vučič emphasizes that "mostly those people were driven from their doorstep".
Asked if he has sympathy for these people, Vucic says he does not and that he condemns the killing of a policeman. However, he adds that unlike Kosovo, which has described the attack as terrorist and therefore also the members of the group as terrorists, he cannot describe "the people who lived there and wanted to return" in this way.
When asked why he does not normalize relations with Kosovo, Vučič said that "Serbia is doing everything and is constructive and that was the case at the last meeting in Brussels, accepting all the proposals" of Borrell and Lajcak.
"The other party did not want to do anything regarding the Association of Serbian Municipalities (in majority, ed.), which was signed 10 years ago, and they did not want to move in that direction. They always only wanted recognition and nothing else," said Vucic.
He added that there would be no Albanian police in the north of Kosovo if the Brussels Agreement was respected.
"There should have been Serbs in the uniform of the Kosovo Police, according to Article 9 of the Brussels Agreement," Vucic told Sky News.
The Serbian president again blamed Prime Minister Albin Kurti for the situation in the north. "But I know no one will listen to this," he says.
