Former US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has made a strong statement regarding the conflict between the United States and Iran, saying that the possibility of using nuclear weapons against Tehran is being discussed at high levels of the US administration.
In a post on social media X, Greene wrote that the discussions are “real” and that she is not speculating, but claiming to know such a thing. She described the possibility of using nuclear weapons as “pure evil.”
Greene has not released any evidence or documents to support her claim and has not identified the officials allegedly involved in these discussions.
She warned that such a decision could cause a catastrophic escalation and said that American leaders would be held accountable before history if the conflict turned into a nuclear confrontation.
Greene's claim comes at a time when the US-Iran war remains tense and the Trump administration has continued to state that one of the main objectives of the US campaign is preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
However, so far there is no independent or official confirmation from the White House, the Pentagon, or other US authorities that the use of nuclear weapons against Iran is being considered.
For this reason, Greene's claim should be treated as an unconfirmed statement and not as a proven fact.
