Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, has stated that Belgrade is disappointed by the rejection of Russia's request by the UN, for an extraordinary session against NATO regarding the intervention in Kosovo.

"This has prevented the truth from being heard about NATO's aggression against Yugoslavia in 1999. We came here at the invitation of the UN Security Council, we believe that the topic is extremely important for the international legal order," said Dacic. at the press conference.

However, he thanked Russia, China and Algeria for supporting the initiative to discuss the bombing of Yugoslavia in the Security Council.

Dacic said that he regrets that some countries are taking on the role of spokesmen for those who commit aggression against Yugoslavia and added that he would share with all the media what he could not say at the UN Security Council session - that "NATO's aggression is illegal from the point of view of international law".
