A terrible accident has occurred in Baltimore, where a ship has struck a bridge, collapsing a large part of the gigantic structure.

Large sections of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland in the US have collapsed into the water after being hit by the Singapore-flagged container ship Dali

Before it ended in the waters of the river, parts of the bridge were engulfed in flames.

As a result of the destruction of the bridge, dozens of cars ended up in the river, endangering the lives of the people inside them.

The media reports that the incident happened at 01:30 local time.
